The Emma Kunz Centre, located at Würenlos some 8 km southeast of Baden, was founded in 1986 to preserve the findings and art collection of Emma Kunz (1892-1963). The artist and faith healer, who in 1941 discovered the healing powers of a rock she called AION A, became a celebrated visionary artist who described her works as ‘Shape and form expressed as measurement, rhythm, symbol and transformation of figure and principle’. The museum at the centre, which opened in 1991, contains about 70 of her most important works and you can also visit the grotto of the healing rock.
