The Elgg Lido is located in pleasant rural surroundings, approximately 10 km southwest of Frauenfeld on the outskirts of Elgg. It offers open-air bathing under lifeguard supervision, with good facilities and ample parking. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a four-metre waterslide, one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a lawn volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers, toilets and a restaurant.
