Sledging enthusiasts should not miss the opportunity of experiencing the 3 km Eiger Run from Alpiglen to Brandegg. It takes 20 minutes on the comfortable ‘Sledge Express’ from Grindelwald to reach the start in Alpiglen. From there, the superb sledging run takes you around hairpin bends at the foot of the Eiger North Wall. The panoramic views are superb and to add further spice, from Wednesday to Saturday evenings, the course is illuminated.
