The Eicholz Lido is located about 4 km south of Berne and offers open-air swimming in the River Aare and a sandy beach. It is next to a camping site and, as a side effect of this, has very good facilities. Features include grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a water slide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers a snack bar, restaurant, and an area for barbeques.
