Located about 21 km east of Andermatt in the Tujetsch region, the Disentis-Sedrun winter sports area has all the winter sports enthusiast could require. It is between 1,130 and 1,440 metres above sea level and Disentis has cable cars up to the Caischavedra, allowing skiing and snowboarding up to 2,833 metres with 60 km of pistes in the area catering for all levels of skier. The main Sedrun ski area has an exciting toboggan run 3.5 km-long and the Gotthard Oberalp Arena in Sedrun and Andermatt has a fun park, half pipe and some 130 km of prepared pistes
