Coppet Church was originally a small chapel dating from the 15th Century. In 1492, Amédée de Viry, Seigneur of Savoy, built a Dominican convent to replace the hospital founded on the site in 1379. The hospital’s chapel was integrated into the nave of the Dominican church. With the Reformation, much of the church was destroyed. The stained glass windows are by the artist Charles Clément (1933 - 1950), who also constructed the stained glass windows for the cathedral of Lausanne. The church contains two organs, one dating back to 1800. The other organ was manufactured by Kuhn de Männedorf and inaugurated in November 1992.
