The Communications Museum moved to its present location in 1990; it covers every aspect of human communication and has many interactive exhibits and entertaining games. There are three permanent exhibitions ‘So near and yet so far: People and their Media’, ‘As Time Goes Byte: Computing and Digital Culture’ and ‘Imagery that Sticks: The World of Stamps’. Special sections cover, The culture of writing, Post, Transportation & Tourism, Stamps/Philately, Telegraphy, Telephone, Radio, Television, Computer and New Media, Arts and Communications, Graphic Arts, Photography, Film and Video. The museum’s archive houses unique treasures from the history of the post and telecommunications in Switzerland.
