Via Ferrata is something between rambling and mountaineering and there are two routes which are accessible to all members of the public, aged from 7 to 77 years. One of them is a climb of 500 metres and the other is 380 metres. There is a third, more difficult route, of 400 metres in length, but this is only suitable for experienced climbers. The access to the starting point of the Via Ferrata climb is achieved by car, followed by a short walk. Via Ferrata is open from mid-June. The equipment necessary (harness, ropes and helmet) can be hired from the ski lift offices in Rougemont.
