The Cimetière des Rois (Cemetery of Kings in French) is one of Geneva’s most fascinating and popular tourist destinations. This celebrated cemetery is where famous people, such as John Calvin, the great reformer, Jorge Luis Borges, the famed Argentine author, and Sérgio Vieira de Mello, the former United Nations diplomat to Iraq, are buried. The website allows visitors to take a virtual tour prior to going to the cemetery in order to plan the route they wish to take, so as not to miss any of the famous graves.
