The Church Treasury Museum is located above the crypt in the sacristy of Baden’s 15th century Catholic parish church and is considered one of the most important collections of its type in the Aargau canton. The treasury includes examples of the goldsmith and silversmith’s art from the late Middle Ages onwards, crucifixes, church vestments, bibles, liturgical items and much more. The church itself has a baroque interior from the period 1612-1698 and further re-modelling took place between 1813 and 1829 in Neo-classical style.
