The Kinderstrandbad Cholplatz is located off the Seestrasse coastal road after passing Gersau and is approximately 10 km east of Brunnen. As its name implies, it is particularly suitable for children and offers lake bathing under lifeguard supervision with good facilities. There is a dedicated non-swimmers’ area in the lake and other features include a float, waterslide, one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a beach volleyball court, trampoline with slide, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets, a kiosk, restaurant and barbeque area.
