The attractive Centre Pasquart offers a choice to visitors of a wide range of contemporary art themes. There are 1,600 square metres of exhibition space, renovated in 2000 and extended with a new building designed by the Basel architects Diener and Diener. Contemporary art and sculpture, graphic art, photography and films are all covered. The centre stages eight temporary exhibitions each year, individual, group and theme exhibitions and presents private collections. There are also overviews of the Swiss current art scene.
