The California Acquapark in Balerna near Chiasso is the ideal place to go when the summer weather lets you down. There are four indoor pools offering something for all the family. There is a 25-metre pool for swimming, a pool for non-swimmers, a children’s paddling pool and a whirlpool. There is a lifeguard on duty. In addition to changing cubicles, lockers, toilets and showers there are ample amenities. These include a water slide, water playthings and a snack bar. There is a sauna, a weightlifting room and a solarium. Fitness classes are offered.
