The delightful Burgseeli Lake Natural Lido, established in 1932, is located near Goldswil, off the main road to Ringgenberg. You can swim from May through until September in the 5.25 hectare (13 acre) lake, amongst the ducks and the water lilies, with a water temperature which reaches 27°C. There is a large lawn area for sunbathing and a self service restaurant or, if you prefer to do it yourself, barbecue grills. There are non-swimmers and paddling pools, a raft, diving platforms, a children’s playground and a fishing permit is available. The water is reputed to have therapeutic properties.
