If you are looking for a different experience, contact the Alpine School and build your own igloo on the Engstligenalp. It takes about two to three hours to build one under the supervision and guidance of experienced professionals from the school. You will be equipped with a shovel, avalanche sensor and a snow saw, all of which will be provided. If you wish, you can have a meal and a drink and spend the night in your new home in a sleeping bag, which can be hired. In the morning you will enjoy a mountain breakfast in a nearby restaurant.
