Bâtie Woods, located near the junction of the Rhône and Arve rivers and developed in 1874, delight both the very young and older visitor alike. There is a large pond with an island, terraces and enclosures where goats, ibex, deer, wild boar, roe, marmots, stone martins, chickens, ducks, peacocks, turkeys and many other regional fauna live in natural surroundings. Considerably larger than it was at its inception, it now covers 20 hectares. A sports field, games for children and two restaurants make this the ideal spot for the entire family. Bâtie Woods provide all the necessary amenities while retaining a taste of wilderness.
