The town of Brugg lies some 10 km west of Baden and the Hallen und Freibad Brugg offers indoor and outdoor bathing under lifeguard supervision with good facilities. The 50-metre open-air swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a children’s paddling pool and, internally, by a 25-metre (28 °C) swimmers’ pool and a non-swimmers’ pool. Features include diving platforms from one metre to five metres, a 66-metre waterslide, pool accessories, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include a solarium, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant.
