Located in Boncourt, just inside the France/Switzerland border, the Piscine des Hémionées indoor bathing complex is about 39 km northwest of Delémont. This attractive complex was opened in 1993 and the 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by an 11-metre non-swimmers’ pool, both under lifeguard supervision and heated to 28°C. Other features are a 35°C whirlpool, an open-air children’s paddling pool, a beach volleyball court, children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, etc. Facilities include a restaurant, solarium, jacuzzi, steam bath, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Massage is available.
