The popular resort of Beatenberg, named after a local saint, St Beatus, sits under the Niederhorn Mountain with great views over Lake Thun. The Panorama Hallenbad Beatenberg has an indoor swimming pool under lifeguard supervision with spa facilities and various pool accessories. A number of activities are staged, such as water gymnastics and therapy bathing, and intending visitors should check in advance for opening hours and events. There is a sauna and a solarium and fitness classes are available, other facilities are limited to changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There are no food outlets.
