A flight in a hot air balloon is a unique experience. Every day of the year, as long as weather conditions are favourable, the montgolfiers (hot air balloonists) take off from Château-d’Oex. Within a few minutes, a breath-taking panorama of 360° is on offer. During the course of the journey travellers look down on the incredible sight of the Alps, from Mont-Blanc to the Eiger, while passing over le Grand Combin, le Cervin, le Jura, Lake Geneva and la Gruyère.
