The Ami Lullin Hall is the Bibliothèque de Genève’s museum. This important museum presents the four-hundred-year-old history of bibliography in Geneva. It has exhibitions showing the history of the book in Geneva after the Reformation, manuscripts and bibliophilic editions, and various documents. There is also a large collection of portraits showing important figures of Geneva’s cultural history, for example the de Saussure family, Rodolphe Töpffer, Henry Dunant, Ella Maillart or Nicolas Bouvier. Within this wonderful exhibition one finds the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Museum, which enables visitors to follow the course of the life and work of the Citizen of Geneva.
