The small town of Amden, located high above Lake Walen and 18 km northeast of Glarus, has an indoor bathing complex with a 20-metre pool which is particularly appealing to the young. The 20-metre pool has various pool accessories; there is a conservatory garden and mini-golf. Special swimming and other lessons are available. Other features are a sauna, solarium, fitness centre (fitness classes if required) and table tennis. Facilities include a snack bar, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets.
