Located next to the Golf Course (see separate entry), the Alvaneu Bad Thermal Baths are approximately 27 km southwest of Davos. Used for curative purposes as early as the 16th century, the baths were replaced by a modern centre in 2001. The concentrated sulphur spring water at source is 6-8° C and the temperature of the indoor and outdoor pools is 34° C. The waters are recommended for the treatment of rheumatic diseases, skin problems, poor circulation, digestive disorders and diseases of the liver. There is a solarium, steam bath, sauna, and medical centre; various massage treatments are available.
