Located on a large site close to the River Aare, approximately 13 km south of Biel, the Schwimmbad Aarberg is an open-air bathing complex with facilities to suit the whole family. The swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a splash pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a 40-metre waterslide, 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre diving platforms, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, two beach volleyball courts, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, boules, etc. Facilities include disabled access, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk, restaurant and barbeque area.
